Thanks to those who have reported errors in chapter 3. It took me quite a while to nut out how I could possibly have dispatched a file including those particular errors since I knew they had been corrected in Cathy's final editing. Eventually, I found that software
changes had not only lost the final edits, but a few extra steps in the writing cycle beforehand as well. Now that I know the changed behaviour, I can make sure it doesn't happen again.
A new, more polished, and slightly longer version of the chapter is attached including those extra editing steps. Please accept my apologies and read the new
version – preferably forgetting that you ever saw the earlier one!
